Risk Pools Meet in Washington, DC

Recently, the four global risk pools (ARC Ltd., CCRIF SPC, PCRIC and SEADRIF) met in Washington DC amidst the backdrop of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings. This was their second gathering after their initial meet in London during the CEO and Underwriting Officer summit earlier in the year. A number of topics were discussed and the delegates and leaders of these organisations used this opportunity to share information and further enhance their aligned interests in post-disaster risk financing. They intend to make this an annual gathering amongst this backdrop of various stakeholder engagements.
